to no one in particular. 
It takes me by surprise 
as I roll over to my left. 
It's scribbled in violet, 
with a circle around it, 
to the side of my berth. 
These words, as I type them out, 
are dedicated to you, 
whoever you are. 
Your words give me hope, 
whoever it was meant for. 
I smile, lost in distant memories. 
I will spread the message, 
on your behalf.
